Winter Solstice Dec 21,2018 in the words of one of our young millennials

This is an excellent posting by a Taino young man from Yameyeka ( Xamaika)
Husband of a true beauty Ronalda and a first time father to a beautiful little butterfly .
Well on his way to being a great medicine person I share with you his words with
respect to winter solstice
He wrote.

" I have been gathering information on the season, and connections to animals , constellations etc that were observed by our ancestors and Today would mark the start of the DRY SEASON.
Still have more research to do but felt to share a dream I had last night that connected many dots for me.
Our ancestors believed that the sun and moon came from a cave called Iguanaboina , in this cave there was also the cemi of Marohu (Without clouds) and Boinyael (Son of the grey serpent / rain).
The Iguana for our ancestors was connected to the sun the spine on its back the rays and interestingly enough the dry season is the mating season for Iguanas timed so that there young will be born during the rainy season additionally the snake and the moon is connected to waters / rain / wet season.
It was during this time of the dry season that our ancestors would interact with the twin Cemino of Marohu and Boinyael, In my dream I was told that it is time to unfasten the hands or Marohu and bind the hands of Boinyael until the Tona (term from Relaciona of Fray Ramon Pane to describe in our ancestral myth the children that were turned into frogs and were connected to the coming rainy season) are seen before dawn - The tona in the night sky is the Pleiades star cluster.
During this Dry season we :
Harvest Yuca (Cassava)
Plant cohiba (tobacco)
Harvest Mani (peanuts)
+ today we harvest sorrel (hibiscus flower)
Hunt Queen Conch
So I wish you all blessings on this start of the dry season, much to be thankful for and to look towards.
 Seneko kakona Kalaan Nibori.

I added a short message with a picture to all reading his words as I do here.

A sense of balance, is at the December solstice - the 21st - as Earth arrives at the 4th of the year’s 4 cardinal points.
The Ancestors are watching us ,remember their teachings familia put them into practice.🙏
Mother earth needs them now more than ever.❤️Ata Bibi Inaru
