We are having Grandmothers gathering with women from the Bohio and Native sisters of Kindred Spirit.

6:30-8 PM Grandmothers Cave in Inwood Park.
This is a special place where our women pray.

As it is a little out of the way, please let me know if you will be attending.Ring your maracas drums smiles and offerings.
If you are attending, I recommend you wear a skirt with pants underneath.
Better if you wear sneakers and socks as well
Summer is season for Ticks and mosquitoes it helps to protect yourself. A hat is also a good idea Ladies
Sun is at its highest point and Hot.
You may also bring a lawn chair if not plenty of tree stumps around to sit on
Bring water and a snack in case you get hungry.
Note in case of rain we will do circle indoors

Directions to Inwood Park
By car: From the West Side Highway: Take the Dyckman Street exit. Follow the exit as it merges with Broadway. Drive North on Broadway to 218th Street. Take a left on 218th Street and drive west on 218th Street. The entrance to the park is at the end of the street
From FDR/East River Drive: Take the FDR/East River Drive north to end. The end of the highway is at Dyckman Street. Bear left on Dyckman Street. Take Dyckman west to Broadway, and take a right on Broadway. Proceed north to 218th Street and make a left turn.
Public transportation: Take the 1 or the 9 train to the 215th Street stop. Walk North to 218th Street. Take a left and walk on 218th Street. The entrance to the park is at the end of the street.
BUS ROUTE The following Buses make stops in the Inwood area: M100, Bx7, Bx12, bx20, BxM
