Takahi Hermana's!

The meet and greet with Mauricio and Asdrubal was phenomenal.  Thank you to everyone who showed their support and hospitality to our relatives from two beautiful indigenous communities in Columbia.

What resonated for me the most from their discussion that evening was the way they unite in prayer and deep meditation as a spiritual means of defense against energies that threaten the existence of Mother Earth and humanity.  They stressed the importance of rescuing our indigenous languages from extinction.  How it was a gift given to us so that we could communicate with Mother Earth

 It was indeed a blessing to hear these words as the women of Bohio Atabei work to strengthen ourselves and our communities in our indigenous ways.

The discussion continued throughout the night with Abuela Inaru.  I'm sure that she will share her thoughts with us on this experience real soon.  Thank you so much Bibi!
